Mon Apr 1509:22Bradley Beal Leads Phoenix Into Playoffs With 36-Point EffortBradley BealSGWizardsFree Agent
Phoenix Suns guard Bradley Beal had an outstanding game in Sunday's regular-season finale against Minnesota, leading all scorers with 36 points in a 125-106 win. The Suns were in a must-win situation to qualify directly into the 2024 NBA Playoffs and did the business in impressive fashion with Beal leading the way. He was a red-hot 6-for-6 from three-point range and shot 14-for-21 overall while collecting six rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one block. Beal's debut year in Phoenix was a disappointment for many, but he came up huge for the Suns in the final couple of regular-season games. The three-time All-Star will now be expected to deliver in the playoffs as well. Beal has averaged 23.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.8 assists, and 1.5 steals across his previous five post-season campaigns.

Mon Apr 1509:08Max Strus Records First Career Triple-DoubleMax StrusSGHeatFree Agent
Cleveland Cavaliers guard/forward Max Strus had a memorable outing in Sunday's regular-season finale against Charlotte, picking up his first career triple-double in a 120-110 loss. With Donovan Mitchell (knee) and Darius Garland (back) rested for the contest, Strus got to play the role of a playmaker and totaled a career-high 11 assists while scoring 14 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. He finished with 5-for-12 shooting, doing most of the damage with a 4-for-6 effort from three-point range. Strus has enjoyed deep playoff runs in recent years with Miami and will hope to do the same with the Cavaliers in 2024. The 28-year-old will enter the postseason after averaging 12.2 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 4.0 assists with 2.4 makes from deep during his first regular-season campaign in Cleveland.

Sun Apr 1416:08Payton Pritchard Has Another Stellar PerformancePayton PritchardPGCelticsFree Agent
Boston Celtics guard Payton Pritchard scored a game-high 38 points in Sunday's 10-point win over the Wizards. The reserve nearly had a triple-double, adding 12 assists and nine rebounds. The C's were locked into the No. 1 spot in the Eastern Conference heading into this one, so the starters got the night off. Although Pritchard likely won't be as productive in the first round of the postseason, his efficient showings over the last two games will automatically give him more attention from fantasy managers ahead of the 2024-25 campaign.

Sat Apr 1322:37Damian Lillard Listed As Probable For SundayDamian LillardPGTrailblazersFree Agent
Milwaukee Bucks guard Damian Lillard (adductor) is considered probable for Sunday's match-up with the Orlando Magic. The 33-year-old is expected to return to action on Sunday following his absence from Milwaukee's last game due to left adductor soreness. The Bucks will happily welcome their star point guard back into the lineup, as a win on Sunday would clinch the second seed in the Eastern Conference. With superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo remaining on the sidelines, Lillard will need to carry a heavier load.

Sat Apr 1321:42Duncan Robinson Uncertain To Play In Sunday’s GameDuncan RobinsonSGHeatFree Agent
Miami Heat guard Duncan Robinson (back) is considered questionable for Sunday's contest against the Toronto Raptors. The sharpshooter sat out the previous three games because of a back injury, and he recently stated he does not have a timetable to return. It is somewhat encouraging that he is listed as questionable for the contest instead of being labeled as out. There is a lot on the line in Sunday's game for the Heat, as they could potentially move up to the sixth seed and avoid the Play-In Tournament, so having Robinson back in their lineup would be beneficial. Fantasy managers should check on his status before tip-off on Sunday.

Sat Apr 1321:39Day'Ron Sharpe Out Again On SundayDay'Ron SharpeCNetsFree Agent
Brooklyn Nets center Day'Ron Sharpe (wrist) won't play on Sunday versus the Philadelphia 76ers. He didn't suit up for Friday's loss to the New York Knicks. But his absence against Philly means his year is over. However, Sharpe had the best season of his career, averaging 6.8 points and 6.4 boards. The 22-year-old could see more work in the middle for the Nets in 2024-25, depending on what the future holds for Nicolas Claxton. Yet, as far as the regular-season finale is concerned, Claxton could see significantly fewer minutes than usual, meaning Noah Clowney, Jalen Wilson, and Trendon Watford are worth considering for DFS contests.

Sat Apr 1321:31Dennis Smith Jr. Ruled Out Versus PhillyDennis SmithPGTrailblazersFree Agent
Brooklyn Nets guard Dennis Smith Jr. (hip) won't play in Sunday's contest against the 76ers. He's missed plenty of time throughout the 2023-24 campaign because of a hip issue, so his absence for the regular-season finale doesn't surprise anyone. But by all accounts, the 2017 No. 9 overall pick had a decent season, averaging 6.6 points, 3.6 assists, and 1.2 steals. Dennis Schroder (Achilles) also won't play, meaning Jacob Gilyard could get the start. However, he struggled in Friday's loss to the Knicks, which won't increase his DFS stock on Sunday.

Sat Apr 1321:23Dennis Schroder Won't Play On Sunday AfternoonDennis SchroderSGCelticsFree Agent
Brooklyn Nets guard Dennis Schroder (Achilles) won't play on Sunday versus the 76ers. The journeyman has played well since his trade to Brooklyn ahead of the deadline, averaging 14.6 points and 6.0 assists while shooting a career-high 41.2% from behind the arc. Schroder wants to remain a Net, so this may not be his final game with the team. But with Dennis Smith Jr. (hip) also sidelined for the regular season-finale, Jacob Gilyard may draw another start. However, Lonnie Walker IV, who had 15 points in Friday's loss to the New York Knicks, should be the guy to target for DFS purposes.

Sat Apr 1320:13Luke Kennard Not Playing On SundayLuke KennardSGClippersFree Agent
Memphis Grizzlies guard Luke Kennard (knee) is out for Sunday's season finale against the Denver Nuggets. This will be his sixth straight game on the sidelines because of a left knee injury. The Grizzlies have been ravaged by injuries all season long, and they will continue to rely on a group of young players for their final game of the season. Fantasy managers can expect GG Jackson II, Jake LaRavia, and Scotty Pippen Jr. to lead the backcourt.

Sat Apr 1320:08Kawhi Leonard Not Playing On SundayKawhi LeonardSFClippersFree Agent
Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard (knee) is set to miss the final regular season game against the Houston Rockets on Sunday. This will be the eighth consecutive game he will be sidelined because of right knee inflammation. The injury concerns continue for Leonard, and it is a mystery if he will be able to play in the first round of the playoffs. The Clippers clinched the fourth seed in the Western Conference and have nothing to play for in Sunday's contest, so they very well could rest other players or limit the minutes of their starters. P.J. Tucker, Amir Coffey, and Brandon Boston Jr. are all potential options to see a heavier workload as the regular season comes to an end.

Sat Apr 1320:00Vince Williams Jr. Remains Sidelined For Sunday Versus DenverVince WilliamsNAGrizzliesFree Agent
Memphis Grizzlies guard Vince Williams Jr. (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday's regular-season finale with the Nuggets. Williams Jr. will miss his 17th consecutive game with tendonitis in his left patellar tendon. Scotty Pippen Jr. and Jordan Goodwin could be solid DFS options and will see many extra minutes with most of the Grizzlies roster sitting out Sunday.

Fri Apr 1221:29Gary Payton II Unavailable For Friday Versus New OrleansGary PaytonPG/SGWarriorsFree Agent
Golden State Warriors guard/forward Gary Payton II (calf) won't play on Friday against the New Orleans Pelicans due to tightness in his left calf. His absence isn't surprising, as he was listed as doubtful earlier in the day. Payton II last suited up on Tuesday against the Lakers, registering nine points, one rebound, and one assist in 14 minutes. Extra minutes will be available for guards Klay Thompson, Chris Paul and Moses Moody in Fridays contest.

Fri Apr 1219:56Jalen Duren Will Not Play FridayJalen DurenNAPistonsFree Agent
Detroit Pistons center Jalen Duren (back) is out for Friday's contest against the Dallas Mavericks. The 20-year-old put up a terrific game on Thursday versus the Chicago Bulls, scoring 20 points and pulling down 11 rebounds. However, the Pistons will let their young center rest and recover from low back spasms. The Pistons sit in last place in the Eastern Conference and do not have much to play for as the season winds down. With Duren sidelined, expect James Wiseman to take on a much bigger role.

Fri Apr 1219:26Michael Porter Jr. Will Play Against The SpursMichael PorterSFNuggetsFree Agent
Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (quadriceps) will play on Friday against the Spurs. Porter has played well this season. Even better, he's only missed one game this year. The 25-year-old has averaged a double-double versus San Antonio during the 2023-24 campaign, meaning he deserves serious consideration from DFS managers.

Fri Apr 1219:20Jamal Murray Cleared For Friday NightJamal MurrayPGNuggetsFree Agent
Denver Nuggets guard Jamal Murray (knee) is available for Friday's meeting with San Antonio. He's been on the injury report since returning from a seven-game layoff. However, the 27-year-old has appeared in Denver's previous three games, most recently amassing 20 points and six assists while shooting 4-for-6 from deep in Wednesday's win over Minnesota. As always, Murray should draw consideration from DFS managers.

Fri Apr 1218:34Josh Giddey Out On FridayJosh GiddeyPGThunderFree Agent
Oklahoma City Thunder guard Josh Giddey (hip) won't play on Friday versus the Bucks. The 21-year-old nearly had a triple-double in Wednesday's blowout over the San Antonio Spurs. But he'll sit this one out because of a bruised hip, meaning his next chance to suit up will be in Sunday's regular-season finale. With that said, Giddey's absence will open up minutes for Isaiah Joe and Cason Wallace. However, both men are still hard to trust from a DFS standpoint.

Fri Apr 1218:29Brook Lopez Upgraded To Available For FridayBrook LopezCBucksFree Agent
Milwaukee Bucks center Brook Lopez (rest) will be available to play in Friday's contest against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The 36-year-old appeared as questionable on the injury report earlier but has now been cleared to take the court. He has scored in double figures in five straight games and will likely have more opportunities to score in this match-up since the Bucks will be without Damian Lillard (adductor) and Giannis Antetokounmpo (calf). Lopez has also been busy on the defensive end, recording at least two blocks in each of his previous four games.

Fri Apr 1218:25Kenyon Martin Jr. Ruled Out FridayKJ MartinPFRocketsFree Agent
Philadelphia 76ers forward Kenyon Martin Jr. (toe) will miss a second consecutive game on Friday versus the Magic. He's dealing with a buried toe that could also keep him out for the final regular-season game on Sunday against Brooklyn. Buddy Hield and De'Anthony Melton could get a chance to see extra time on the court without Martin Jr., with the former being the better fantasy option. However, relying on Hield always tends to be risky business, and Friday's matchup is an awful one for the Sixers players fantasy-wise.

Fri Apr 1218:19Nick Richards Out On Friday NightNick RichardsCHornetsFree Agent
Charlotte Hornets center Nick Richards (foot) won't play on Friday against the Celtics. The 26-year-old hasn't been as productive as he was a few months ago, so his absence isn't much of a blow for fantasy managers. However, with Richards and Grant Williams (ankle) both ruled out, Aleksej Pokusevski should draw serious value consideration for any DFS contest.

Fri Apr 1218:13Grant Williams Downgraded On Friday NightGrant WilliamsPFCelticsFree Agent
Charlotte Hornets forward Grant Williams (ankle) won't play in Friday's matchup with the Celtics. He's battling a sprained right ankle. But with the Hornets having nothing left to play for, Williams likely won't see the floor again this season. With Nick Richards (foot) also out, Williams could have handled things at the five. But with both men out, Aleksej Pokusevski is nearly a lock for all DFS contests.
